About Me

My name is Yvonne Copeland. I'm currently living in Pittsburgh, PA with my husband Anthony and our son Aiden. We have lived in Pittsburgh for a little over a year and enjoy discovering all that this city has to offer. We are from Southern California but have also lived in the Seattle area for 5 years prior to moving here. I enjoy blogging, sharing my thoughts and experiences with women and mothers alike. I also enjoy fitness, living a healthy lifestyle, being active, and spending time outdoors. I also run my own at home tutu business called Maddie Bear's Tutus. I love to stay busy and spend as much time with my family whenever possible.

My husband Anthony is in the Navy, which explains our reason for moving so much. He is currently recruiting in the area but was previously attached to the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln for 5 years as an Aviation Boatswains mate. He's done nearly 7 years in the Navy so far and has sacrificed so much for our family. Navy life has definitely been a challenge but has also benefitted us in many ways as you will learn in some of my posts.

Our son Aiden will be turning 5 next month in August. He is a very active and free-spirited little boy who continues to surprise me in many ways. He is very smart, and such a quick learner. His favorite color is green, he loves playing with cars, the ninja turtles, he loves singing, and making people laugh. He enjoys sports of any kind but his favorites include baseball and football. He has a bigger social circle and probably a busier schedule than I do ;) He is the light of our life.
